In my last post, I mentioned that my darling husband is a digi scrapper. It occurs to me that you might like to see one of his pages. So here ya go! What’s so surprising to me is that this man, who has to be coaxed into saying sweet nothings, is soooo mushy on his scrapbook pages. lol This is a page that he made for me. Isn’t it sweet?! I can’t find the credits for it right now, so I’ll have to come back and add those later. I just wanted to share this with y’all really quick. :) And if y’all would leave him some love, he’d be tickled pink. Well, maybe not pink since that’s so girly. Maybe more of a maroon. lol
Here’s a piece of info for ya: I’m married to a really great guy. Besides the fact that he’s also a digi scrapper (how cool is that?!), he’s also an amazing Daddy. To honor just one of the wonderful ways that he shows his great-daddiness, I’ve made this LO for him. (credits: everything is from the “Isabella” kit by Maggie Lamarre of Dragonflaire Studios)
So after I finished making this page, I got to thinking about what kind of mother I am. I’m pretty sure that my two oldest kids will remember that Daddy wore those bracelets for months without removing them. What will they remember about me? Will they remember the “Bratz” sticker that I wore for a solid week? Will they remember the handmade party invitations that we made together? What about the times I checked them out of school an hour early just to spend some alone time with them? I sure hope they remember the little things like that. Maybe I should make some scrappy pages about those things….just to nudge their memories. lol
Isabella Contest January 26, 2007
Dragonflaire Studios is so excited to announce the Isabella Card Contest! All you have to do is create a card using the Isabella kit. That’s it! The card must contain at least 75% Isabella product. Upload your creations to dragonflaire.com.
Take a look at the gorgeous card that DT member Becky Chabot created using this kit. It’s just beautiful!
Well, here it is! My first blog posting! What I’m hoping to share with this blog is the news and upcoming events for the Designers I create for and the exciting new scrappy things I discover. While you’ll probably see a good bit of that, I’m sure there’ll be some family fluff mixed in there somewhere. :) But here it is….the beginning my scrappy blog.
